Sustainable & Eco-friendly Floristry Workshop – Funeral Designs

Our range of funeral designs are either made using reusable materials or are completely biodegradable. You will learn how to create a single & double funeral sheaf plus casket ‘topper’. We will also show you how to make a biodegradable wreath using methods suitable for both funeral and Christmas wreaths. We discuss how to work sustainably by using and sourcing British-grown flowers and what to use as alternatives in winter months, as well as foraging ‘rules’ and top tips. We also discuss delivery logistics and how to liaise with funeral homes. This course is suitable for florists who are committing to eco-friendly techniques or for ‘at-home’ florists looking to learn new skills, as they head into the wedding industry.
