Bek was at the top of Shap Fell, Cumbria today admiring the knapweed and rose willow herb and waiting for her husband Jon.

Jon is cycling from John O’Groats to Land’s End in 8 days, supported by Bek and Rowan and the Dickenson family.

Jon is raising money for two causes that are very close to our hearts:
Little Harbour Hospice who looked after Seth Dickenson and continues to support the whole family — we are lucky enough to have Seth’s bench on our flower plot so we think of him every day.

And The Patch, which was set up by Bek and her sister Cats to give young adults with autism and learning disabilities supported work experience in horticulture and animal care.

We had so much fun choosing, picking and creating the florals for Natalie & Luke`s boho / 70s-inspired wedding last week. The style was not only right up our street (Laura was particularly excited by the brief — the floristry team even had Fleetwood Mac playing in the workshop!) but also perfect considering what is blooming at the moment. We can cater for all colour schemes but there`s something about late summer and all the hot colours that`s just `sunshine in a bouquet`.

A little look back over the past couple of weeks and two lots of flowers for ceremonies in the gorgeous church of St Mary`s, Hunton... Two naming ceremonies — one of which included a blessing. The first pic shows a sweetpea bouquet, created using mostly perennial sweet peas, as the annuals were going over, but with just a few annuals added for scent. The next two photos show two large vases which featured in the church and at the reception too. Not only was it a treat to be providing flowers for Jen`s home village but she was also treated to an evening of music as it wafted over the fields to her back garden 😊

A little snapshot of the wedding we were involved in over the weekend at the stunning Bilsington Priory. We haven’t been lucky enough to visit before so were excited about having a look around. It’s another stunning venue managed by @glowevents_uk so we knew it would be gorgeous and we would get a warm welcome. It makes such a difference to us florists, and other suppliers I’m sure, to be met by friendly and helpful staff…
