Last week we sent out our first-ever bouquets by courier, and it was a nail-biting stuff. After we’d packed them into the courier boxes, wrapped in compostable plastic and cushioned gently with recycled shredded paper… (I think you’ve got the idea!) we had to hand them over.
As the courier guy piled our ‘babies’ three-high, Bek and I walked alongside the boxes, arms outstretched, in case he dropped them. There were a few gasps and nervous moments as he loaded them into the van. But our job was done and we just had to let them go.
Next day, to our great relief, came texts and emails to say that our precious packages had safely reached their destinations. And, best of all, our customers loved their Spring bouquets. Smiles all round.
