2024 Workshops are here!
We’ve listened to suggestions about what you’d like to learn and also kept an eye on costs, as we know that many of our customers are feeling the pinch at the moment. With this in mind we've put together a selection of gorgeous workshops that offer value for money, as well as a wealth of information and inspiration. There are the usual 'old favourites' -- such as hand-tied bouquets -- as well as a few totally new workshops which we hope you will be as excited about as we are!
In March you can visit the plot and learn how to make a simply but beautiful willow plant support on our Willow Wigwam course with Bek or learn how, and make, a hand-tied posy of scented flowers — in time for Mother’s Day.
If you’ve always dreamt of growing your own flowers, our Grow Your Own Cut Flowers courses are the perfect starting point where you’ll learn all you need from the Blooming Green team. We've broken them down into four separate options this year, so you can pick and choose what you learn, whether you want to know more about Annuals, Biennials, seed-saving or growing foliage.
We often get asked how we create our floral designs without foam or moss, so we've created a number of sustainable and eco-friendly floristry workshops, from celebration flowers, installations, DIY / Affordable wedding flowers Whatever workshop you choose, we’ll give you the confidence to ditch the plastic for good.
Our workshops are always relaxed, fun and we cater for all levels. Materials, tools and refreshments are provided — so all you need to bring is yourself. Learning takes place in our spacious shed and / or outside on the flower plot where you will get to pick some of the materials you are going to work with... . Most of our workshops are restricted to 12-16 participants, so you will have plenty of space and plenty of our care and attention.
- We run our flower courses at the Blooming Green flower plot unless stated otherwise
