Dandelion Time!
We are thrilled to be supporting this fantastic charity in 2014. Dandelion Time is based on a smallholding just along the hill from us, and works with children who have suffered, or are suffering, from abuse and neglect. “Work” is one way of describing it, but play is also a big part of what they do. The charity, founded in 2003, provides “practical farm-based developmental activities and a therapeutic service” to help children develop in confidence and self-esteem and discover a new and positive path to follow.” It truly is a wonderful place, as I discovered on a visit yesterday, and it would be great to raise some funds for them.
